For the past decade I’ve been exploring various types of dance and the effect that movement has on the mind, body and soul.  Various cultures around the world have been using dance throughout various ceremonies and rituals since the beginning of time but it’s only now that the medical world is noticing the benefits of movement therapy.  Movement can aid a client’s physical, mental, behavioural and emotional healing and can often help a person really begin to be more connected with their bodies and what they are actually feeling.
